Feel the warm sun
Smell the clean air
Hear the songs of birds
It’s so peaceful sitting here.

Feel the wind on skin
Smell the sweet grass
Hear the leaves rustling above
Don’t want to be anywhere else

Feel the rough bark behind
Smell the fragrance of flowers
Hear the plane overhead
Would not like to be on it

Feel the dirt under feet
Smell the smoke of a fire
Hear the stream trickling below
Might go for a swim later

Feel the dog sitting beside me
Smell the sweet grass
Hear the cars in the distance
Wishing we did not have to leave

Feel the vibrations in the air
Smell the hint of rain to come
Hear the thunder approaching
Quick, don’t want get to wet
