Placid my lake a memory
Reflecting golden the sky Counting my blessings Through spacious hours - Like plumes that wave On a midnight scene Lights on my shoulder Shimmering the dawn, A stork standing still The shadow looms Just like the moon Tucked under her wing, Feeding in the shallows Tadpoles in a hurry Under lily pads green My home as the child - Lazily the dream I wake Storms passing me bye Midnight in my gown Time that seems asleep, Lonely the old age room Sun drawn into the sky Surging on into daylight Shining a light in heaven - There my life will survive With the flow of my soul Sweet music in words The day to come soon, One day by surprise where without fear Or lingering late My Savior waits.
