Whisper a melody
Sweet In my ear,
Softly and sweetly.
I’ll listen and hear.

Tell me of rainbows
And soft cuddly things.
Sing about princes
And castles and kings.

Sing of the fairies
And princesses, too;
Tell of the creatures
We saw at the zoo.

Tell me you love me,
And hold me so tight,
Pull up the covers
Then, kiss me good night.
