So take me away from here
Take me away from this stress! This congestion, This mess. Where people are too hard, There's no room for a yard. No place to scream. Do you know what i mean?!! So take me away from here. far...far ... away I want to go where the whippoorwill calls. Feel the mist cascading off the waterfalls. Feeling the grass underhand. Reacquainting myself with the land. I want to get out of this inhumane race. Where we toss our junk all over the place Where we've screwed ourselves out of greenness and lush Where we all just want way too much So take me away from here far...far ... away I want to go where the whippoorwill calls Feel all the mist cascading off the waterfalls Feeling the grass underhand Reacquainting myself with the land. I want to soar in the sky, do a wicked fly-by! Run through the trees, as they dance in the breeze. Canoe down a stream and swim in my dreams. Within the wilderness you can find, a serenity, a peace , within your mind. It can calm and soothe your inner being, As you set your gaze upon all worth seeing. So take me away.
