Trumpets Sound Trumpets sound at dawn’s creation; Matter forms where once was void. Man evolves in jubilation, Soon to lose what sin destroyed. Trumpets sound at dawn’s salvation; From the east the angels sing. Son of peace prevents damnation. Man in turn doth kill the King. Trumpets sound at dawn’s cessation; No time left to heed the call. Faithful rise in exaltation. Callous souls affirm Man's fall. (12 lines -- Catalectic Trochaic Tetrameter) [abab-acac-adad]
