Viewpoint


A change of viewpoint
can make
all the difference.

I looked inwardly
and saw my shortcomings,
felt I was unworthy,
thought only
of what others
had done to me.

Someone whispered,
"don't listen."
Now I look outwardly
and think
of what I can do
for others.

It may not be much
but, a little
can go a long way.
Small gestures
of kindness
can make a difference.

One person
at a time,
we can make
the world
a better place.
