Unification of the Flesh
A poem about having cannibalistic cravings

Is it so wrong to want every piece of you?
Every Single Piece?
I want to feel your skin underneath my tongue.
I want to peel away the seven layers like
the surface of an onion. It's

Exhilarating, but
Epidermis alone cannot satisfy me.
I need to get to the heart of the matter. The

Consumption of muscles, ligaments, tendons, and
Scraping of bones down to pure white marrow, and
Licking them clean takes the edge off
This hunger, but its still not

Enough.
Inner organs
(Liver, Spleen, Lungs...)
Passing between my lips,
Sliding down the esophagus. I must

Strip you away until only the core remains. Your

Heart lays on my finest china.
I watch it pulse and throb.
I want to feel it quiver between my palms.
I want to absorb it right through my own flesh.
Only then can we be united

Forever.
