Waiting In Egypt
Rated: E | Poetry | Religious | #1725789
He's coming soon
Waiting in expectation

and feasting on the Lamb,

Israel was secure from judgment

and at peace with God.

With loins girded,

shoes on their feet,

staff in hand,

they were ready to depart Egypt.

Waiting in expectation

and feasting on the Lamb,

I am secure from judgment

and at peace with God.

Looking for that awesome hour

when the Morning Son

summons me from earth,

to the Paradise won.
