Settling into that Groove
After watching my NBA basketball team get routed, I had to vent - a poem.

This item requires reviews with ratings.
One needs to sacrifice so much control,
To put up numbers which people extol;
Soon, you’ll find you’re on quite a roll –
Failure shall never takes its toll…

Creatures of habit do certainly exist,
And occasionally do make an ironclad fist,
But the opportunities come, and they do resist,
Fearing much harm, they cease and desist!

Try to break free, demanding the score,
And live the pure life, forevermore –
Retreating with doubt that much rain will pour
Is an unsound theory that one should ignore…

Once you settle into a groove,
No one will question this well-practiced move;
This is fine wisdom, which shall behoove,
Your glorious rank, and time shan’t remove!
