How Do We Live?

Our lives are alacrity bursting.
Living faithful we will ever be aiming.
However, caution is advised with eagerness.
Enthusiasm, readiness and promptness are ageless.

Imagine a life of one who is heartless.
Total unfeeling, uncaring and unsympathetic axis.
We should eternally elect a steady path.
No one would choose one filled with wrath.

It is this poet’s choice to extol.
A musing bard attempts to cajole.
Exalt, commend, eulogize and admire.
All these verbs will light a fire.

Be ever careful not to be haughty.
Be not arrogant, conceited, nor snooty, it’s catchy.
Be ever ready to renovate, renew, and praise.
Be positive in thought and deed, always.

Never let your life reach its zenith.
However, move onward to its peak.
Endure what your life does beareth.
Each life does take different technique.

In the conclusion it is best to be venerable.
Oh, delight in esteem, honor and respect, that’s acceptable
We are after all, only human.
We will always be judged by our action.

Looking back, my life I could refurbish.
It would be easy to erase the anguish.
At present it is comfortable to be staid.
Hopefully the remaining years won’t be an arcade.
