The Dragon Skin Coat
a flashlight danced like a match in the cave of pillows and blankets he traced the scales through forest greens to the yellow eyes finger dandruff snows where darkness falls on unread words he held his lungs in his heart feeling the coarse recycled paper the bookmark before the last chapter far from the glossy cover inside the dragon's lair his hero waiting for imagination to read on "The Writer's Cramp" Prompt: write a poem or story with the title The Dragon Skin Coat.
