Natural Man


There was a man,
a very sad and lonely man.
He cried in pain,
cried in grief,
screamed beyond the night.

There was a voice,
a sympathetic angel voice.
She spoke to him
words of love
to melt his frozen heart.

She showed him love,
a world of love beyond his own.
He could give love,
he could help
the ones who have no home.

There's now a man,
a grateful and contented man,
who does his best
where he can:
to give, its own reward.
