A Trek to Remember Long ago I was on a journey in the Winter. I had become nothing but a beggar. I fell on tough times, another chapter. My life in shambles no matter. Dark clouds were overhead. My hands were freezing and they bled. My mind told me, “Find the nearest homestead.” I was starving, worn-out and needed a bed. Once I’d seen it written, “Trust in God.” My life was spiraling, totally flawed. I knelt and prayed, I’m not a fraud. My prayer was answered, I was awed! The dark clouds trickled heavenly music. In absolute fear, I was brain struck. Angels were singing. It was rhythmic. Those heavenly entertainers were my medic. God knows, I am happy I saw the display. Thanks to His guidance, I am alive today. Now each evening I kneel and pray. God saved my life; I am his servant all the way.
