The Feelings of the Overly Burdened
Emotions spent, but paying the intellectual rent on property - a poem.

This item requires reviews with ratings.
Rather than support our overly burdened,
Supremely wrought and melancholy souls,
Discomforted actors and patrons rely on
Matter-of-fact statements to belittle and
Characterize our often youthful, incorrect,
And misguided behavior.
Not being one to condone or repeat mistakes
In a non-responsive or uncaring way,
I am forthright in accepting blame
Through these clearly stated affirmations,
Knowing full well that I will reclaim the authority
And rectify the deed.
But these matter-of-fact statements
Do somehow render an emotional outcome,
And though I try hard to see the justice in these calls
For deference and inculcation,
I am also dearth to conceal my feelings
For the occasional lack of frivolity and forgiveness –
For these infrequent errors allow folks to exercise
Their much-needed teaching skills,
While failing to inculcate a learner’s approach
Which noisemakers often see
Themselves so unfit to practice.
