48 I’m Afraid It’s All A Little Too Late
She says she’d like to see me again And find it I very hard to explain And she, who would not even look at me With me now she says she’d like to be And she, my offer who’d always decline Me now she would like to wine and dine And me, who always she wanted to hide Now in her salon she’d like to preside And now she wants to turn off the light And sit and neck with me all night So although, SHAIDA, it sounds so great I’m afraid it’s all a little too late URDU GHAZAL Wo aanay lagay haen, wo jaanay lagay haen Ab aa kay mujhay khud manaanay lagay haen Jo aakhaen churaatay thay, ab mast ho ker Wo aankhoun say mujh ko pilaanay lagay haen Jo talchat pilaatay thay, ab aks e rukh say Wo saaghar mera jagmagaanay lagay haen Bulaatay na mehfil maen jo thay, mujhay khud Wo sadr ab bana key bithaanay lagay haen Humaaghoash khilwat maen honay ki khaatir Chiraaghoon ko khud hi bijhaanay lagay haen Kabhee jo na aa’ay jawaan jab thay SHAIDA Wo aa’ay haen ab, jab wo jaanay lagay haen
