Shadows of Me In the past and in the future, through time's cruel waters: Lonely Girl recites, proudly, for the spelling bee; she lives alone in shadows of gee. In the recess of Old's home, through panels of glass: the children set free, playing, under the gum tree; Old lives alone in shadows of would-be. In the confines of my mind, through the fluxing of dreams: lies the bitter trustee, buried, deep in the red sea; and I live alone in shadows of Me.
