The Treasure Chest Jessie had a princess doll, With a cushion and a shoe, A Cinderella bed and chair, And coach and horses too. She loved the charming handsome prince, But the thing she loved the best, Tucked away among the toys Was a tiny treasure chest. "I've got no treasure, Grandma, To put inside it now, I need some jewels small enough To fit inside somehow." So Grandma searched for treasure, Like a locket or a ring, And there, inside a secret drawer, She found the very thing. Two tiny silver buttons That glittered just like stars, She handed them to Jessica And said, "Dear, here you are." "I've got some diamonds!" Jessie squealed, "I'm thrilled and happy too. What makes you happy, Grandma?" And Grandma answered, "You." Written for Jessica Kate by her loving Grandma: ![]()
