Lesson#1- Writing Assignment

CountryGourmetHome

My name's Sister of Mercy,(1) but most people call me Sister. I'm a 34 years old Southern woman from a little town in Mississippi. I'm currently editing my novel,(?) When the Sun Sets on Deacon, Mississippi. When I'm not writing,(2) I love watching movies, listening to classic country music and some folk,(?) reading,(?) and cooking. I'm currently reading a Stephen King Book(4c) that I borrowed from my brother.

My favorite singers are Johnny Cash,(?) June Carter Cash,(?)Waylon Jennings,(?)Leonard Cohen,(?)and Lee Hazlewood. I love the TV shows,(?)Supernatural,(?) Big Love,(?) and True Blood(1) as well as many others. My favorite authors are Stephen King,(?)VC Andrews,(?)Bentley Little,(?) and HP Lovecraft. I've been told that I have an obsession for all things horror,(?)maybe(?) because it's true.

My cat(4b) Gizmo(4b) is my muse,(1) and I created a character in my novel based on him. I used to have two dogs named Lady and Morganna. Lady was a red,(3a) fluffy Chow-mix, and Morganna was a sassy(3b) red Mini Pin. I also created characters in my novel based on them too.

I'm also very active in my church,(4a) however (4a), they may want to throw me out the door if they ever read my novel.
