Isn't it obvious,
how my eyes look away from yours? And the funny little laugh, I do on your behalf, comes and goes at your command. Isn't it obvious? So where do I stand? Do I wrestle with the sky? for it makes as much sense. To try to hide it and deny, in some pitiful pretense. There is no way to hide, there's nowhere I can go, It's just so obvious, so obvious, So how come you don't even know? Can you tell a brilliant sun, it must no longer shine? Can you tell a blissfull heart, you can't see that you're mine? Isn't it obvious? So obvious? There comes a point to step away, and take these gifts I have, Guess there isn't much I can say, One of us won't be hurt as bad. As I turn from you and leave, Like thunder it comes through, I listen but I half-believe, the words whispered from you.... "Isn't it obvious? So obvious? I feel the same about you too." by Kimarie Manhart-Freeman
