"It takes courage to grow up and turn out to be who you really are."
She took these words to heart and decided to throw her life completely around. Started to party... quit her study and "has plans" to start another. "I really want to do this", was all she said. It mostly hurt when she said that she started her study to please her parents in the first place. I did not want her to study for our sake. She chose, not I, and the result in the past two and a half years was an angry girl in her early twenties. Acting miserable against her three brothers, and even more angry and miserable against her parents. Who are you, and who am I? Am I just the loser you paint me to be time after time when we quarrel? Well, then I keep quiet. I am just your mom, who wants the best for her children, knowing they are going to find the right way into this world. Able to make a decent living for themselves. But is it right to blame me, for who I am? Silence is all I get in return...maybe it is best to leave you alone. I might be a loser, and you might not be right. but it takes courage to grow up turn out to be who you really are keep in mind though, that silence is not golden and your parents are here, to listen, encourage, and sometimes give advice to help you find out that the key to who you really want to be belongs to both you and me. 271 words
