The Sleeping Aid
Little Bo-Peep was counting sheep but sleep would not come quickly. Rubbing her head she mumbled and said, "Where can it be?" rather thickly. "Did the sandman creep and steal my sleep as I tossed and turned and waited?" Twixt the pro and con she rambled on as she, with herself, debated. She wiped at her eye and with a sigh she drifted off into snoring. Her own conversation was the causation. She found herself utterly boring. Notes An entry in "School Daze Nursery Rhyme Extravaganza" Line Limit: 16 Lines: 15 Original rhyme can be found at Little Bo Peep Thank you for taking time to read my words. I would appreciate it if you took a moment and left a comment. Your reaction, impressions, criticisms, - yes, even praise Ken
