The Beacon Shining
A beacon of light that guides seafaring vessels to shore - a poem.

This item requires reviews with ratings.
Along the rocky, winding coastline
Stretching countless miles toward the faraway horizon,
A lonely beacon of light criss-crosses the mighty waves
And shines luminously through the mist and fog,
Requesting smooth passage for seafaring vessels
At the ocean’s seamless and swirling periphery.
The visible aura of light searches the
Vast, cloudy marine environment,
Offering its ubiquitous guidance and helpful direction.
While this glistening light yields its powerful beams
Through a semi-circular path,
The violent surf leaps and comes crashing down,
And warns that the journey to safe shores
Is still an imposingly watery and lashing distance in front…
Life belonging to the seas returns to land
For fortuitous laughter and celebration,
Later laying claim to the vastness
Of these aqueous treasures yet again,
An ever-enduring cycle of exploration and life…
