Where Hope Is Found

In
A world
Of strife, where
Is hope found?
It is found in Him.
Life brings great challenge,
Including life threatening.
It's also full of much glee, gee!
Turning our eyes upon Him, we
Know we are not alone, hence hope lives.

My darling dear, Rhonda, went through much,
And at one moment I left her so
Alone in a cold lifeless room.
Driving home alone, I
Saw that life was just plain
Oh so fleeting here.
I could but fix
My hope on
His face.

A Double Etheree
Poetic Expressions Week #3

The Etheree consists of 10 lines beginning with 1 syllable and increasing by one each line.
A Double Etheree is a single Etheree and an Inverted Etheree with syllabic count reversed 10 to 1 syllable.
The content expresses the area I placed my hope in a time when the world seemed so hopeless due to the condition my beloved was in.  Hope is found in Him, upon this we can rely even when the ones you love are in need.
