modern form silence… quaking aspen appear ‘round the meadow doves murmur dream awakens in pieces of presence red wind ~ blows from the desert ~ empty icicles drip shrinking one drop at a time goslings become… geese gathering grace where robins graze tomorrow, snow melts today familiar form (5-7-5) manzanitas hide quail incursion from local hillside residents crow directs traffic around desert thunderstorms smoking a cigar warm winter cedar burns with beauty… table set two extra places ~ Peach April 6, 2010 Pentagon City, Virginia Written while listening to jazz and sweating in the air conditioning. © 2010, 2011 Jimmy the Peach (Peach).
