Shipwreck
        by Valerie Victoria   (vgravino@Writing.Com)
As I sailed to the north coast the wind swept me away
taking frontward backward all around
As it calmed down I thought I'd be okay
but I guess not, cause the storm went astray

But I'll fly away, I'll sink this ship.
I"ll take the memories away
Never remember the day that you said
it's over now
I'll tear this piece of mind forever
you and us together never again.

As I reached the south coast I wondered why I've been
placed alone in this abyss.
I wanted north but I am south.
I want to know here, I want to know now.

But I'll fly away, I'll sink this ship
I'll take the memories away
Never remember the day that you said
it's over now
I'll tear this piece of mind forever
you and us together never...

I gave you everything, but loose you let the anchor free.
I tried to be me but to you it wasn't the way it should be.

but I'm better off and I'll sail on
and I'm better off and I'll sail on
