Love
Difficult to define, but you know it when you find it.

He knew me first
With toddlers wrapping my legs
By a broken water-heater.
I was distracted
He was visionary.

With two marriages behind us
I sought help over a new
Computer hmm...a what?
But he knew,
My visionary.

Life was chaotic
He was calm
I missed that oasis
Swept by stormy seas
I was distracted.

He plucked me from the wreckage
Soothed the storm
Survived the debris churning in my wake
Until we arrived
In paradise. And I saw him.
