Calming My Sea
The sea was so turbulent and rocky, it had no sign of peace. The winds were so strong, had me on my knees. The pain so sharp, I coudn't catch my breath; seemed like the storrm would never end. I cried out for a friends helping hand, but the friends I thought I knew had all disappeared. Fear crept in.. What was I to do? Silently, I began to pray to God. He is the frist one I should have turned to, he has never let me down. He would know what to do. Then I felt a peaceful calm wash over me like a warm summer breeze. Instantly instilling peace inside me. I lifted my head and saw a hand reaching out in a command. He was calming the waters of my sea; telling the wind to be at peace. He told me to rise and that all would be fine as long as I turned over the reigns to the sea's of my life.
