The loveliest creature, her expression so kind,
With clothes chic and gorgeous, and a look so refined;
Her elegant strides when she makes up her mind,
Keep me happy beside her, so completely resigned!

How together we feel, such a rare gift, this sign –
The Lord’s greatest blessing, so worthy and fine!
To nurture each other with such spirits divine,
Being faithful and trusting, and so true by design!

With practical know-how, her talents endure –
Whenever I’m sick, she knows the best cure…
We never really argue, though we’re not quite demure,
Emotions run rampant, but our love remains pure…

With patience and love, we owe God all our licks,
