Little Girl Gone You know that your mom loves you She never forgets that her love is true Times will be better and you will find That you will always be on momma's mind She misses you as you live with dad Not holding you makes her so very sad She can still feel you held close to her chest But praying that you'll see all life's best Though she can not kiss you good night She trusts that God will make things all right I hope that those who take you from her Stops to think that her love for you is pure It is so hard for her to hear that she made a mistake And sent you to live with a deadly snake
