SUICIDE LAMENT

Stranded and Alone
Snow in drifts all windblown
Temps dropping below zero
Today I don't feel much like a hero

Depression saps my strength
Paralyzed again at length
The wind still blowing strong
Hopefully not for too long

Rise to meet another day
For my doings, I'll surely pay
You can't drive all away
And hope sanity will stay

I've had enough
It's gone too far
No longer upbeat
Life's bazaar

I'll end it now
The question is how?
Life can be so brief
No doubt - filled with grief

The last line
The very last time
Will be sublime...........
