"Crystal Painting"
Crystalized paintings embossed on a frigid window pane. Snow waves, rigid ripples, and frozen-faded footsteps offer memories of recent events. Splattered about shiny silver specs of snow-fairy dust become a multitude of effervescent hues, against the newly gessoed ground-canvas. Only an instant flash of bright contrast, a flush of scarlet-red, light and leave. A birdbath's ice rink tease the Cardinal's search for a drink. Winter muse, long steel fingers of blue shadows, create an icy moment that lingers.
