... Two Schillings Bobbed for You That's when I played My whistle dear, I played that song Of love for you. I rang the notes To sound as crisp As dawn; A country day anew. To glimpse the gleam Of golden hearth, Two schillings only Bobbed for you. A copper cleared For every turn; Loves righteousness Waged kind in truth!
