If I could rest on that sweet ocean shore,
Towered by blue sky with thin cloud breathing over.

I wish in her arms for one night more,
I'd wage all to hold her as she does me.

Where the tears fall so softly, silent, gone.
The years of youth bring thoughts of joy,

Gone so far from what now is known.
My felt relations cast love on where I go.

Where the sun shines on me,
I'll walk forever without any thought but you.

I stand sober in wait for your touch to live.
