Only margins and lines,
college ruled, but blank as my mind. The nib touches the surface in a tease, not even leaving a drop of ink as if to say "I've left my mark on you!" before retreating. And again the pen touches the paper. The Eagle has landed, this time beginning to leave behind its ebon trail, not in a straight line, but a curve. They say only a genius can draw a perfect circle, but the writer begins his genius with the letter O followed by an N, an L and a Y...
