Tristful Transit ![]() Lost in thought, my mind's caught in time's silk net. Binding me, stretching taut, reminding me, lest I forget, that each choice I have made incurs a debt. Past images assail, dark memories accost, my vision pales as emotions beset; I find myself filled with regret having lost what I sought. Still, I see yet what was taught and not cost. Notes An entry for Round 36 of "Pond Poetry" Prompt: Image Form: Diatelle The diatelle is a syllabic poem. The syllable structure of the diatelle is: 1/2/3/4/6/8/10/12/10/8/6/4/3/2/1, but unlike an Etheree, has a set rhyme pattern of abbcbccaccbcbba.
