Make Me A Blessing, Lord

Make me a blessing, Lord, I pray,
To some lost soul I meet today.
Make me pure in thought and deed,
Make me attuned to those in need.

Help me, Lord, for I may be
The only Bible some will see;
A good example of Your Love
Shaped by Your Grace sent from above.

Help me, Lord, to do Your Will;
To hear Your Voice though quiet and still.
Please let me live each day for You,
Sharing Your Word the whole day through.

'Til I shall leave this earthly place
And look upon Your Holy face,
This prayer to You, I humbly pray,
Make me a blessing, Lord, today.
