Part B

Picture it.........Mississippi........April 27, 2000. I was twenty-four at the time and enjoying a sunny day while waiting to meet someone. A good-looking man (who looked like Glen Campbell) drove up in a gray Cadillac.

"Could he be the one I met through the personals? It can't be. It's too good to be true-" I broke off my thoughts.

He strolled up to me, and we hugged. The sensations took me over just from his arms being around me. I peered into his gorgeous blue eyes. I became lost in them momentarily. He had on a Ralph Lauren shirt and jeans. He wore the coolest boots. I remembered what I had on too: a sleeveless, blue dress, matching earings, and black, strappy sandals.

We strolled holding hands along the riverbank. After that, we sat at a bench and talked, getting to know each other. We knew that we were an instant love connection. He was everything I was looking for in a man: older, rugged, blue-eyed, charming, and polite. Yes, I found my "Prince Charming".

This was the day I met my boyfriend. We've been together for almost eleven years. Although we've weathered many storms, our relationship has been able to pass the test and stay strong.
