Farewell My Love
by

We knew the peril, we knew the pain, we knew the hot flame. Passion we played with, and this quiet, unseen heat burnt us. We are gentle people, both hurt deep. We just needed compassion, some tender loving attention, even if it was just for a moment. In a single heart beat, this moment, oh this lonely moment inflamed our hearts and ripped us a part. This single passionate moment encompassed a life, evoking us to feel alive. The flame of love caste its awesome light into our darken hearts. It cut the vale of thick loneliness. Then, as sudden as it started, a cruel wordily wind blew the flame out before the drops of hot passionate wax rolling down the candle of love cooled hard and fast. Now we weep silent in the dark.
