The Princess looks out from her tower
Longing for her Prince to come Hour after Hour She waits for days She waits for years For that Prince she can call hers Then one day a gallant Knight Rides up to the castle The Princess watches from her tower As he arrives up on the hour She runs as fast as she can Down the spiraling tower steps To greet the man she hopes will be Her valiant prince you see. The knight removes his helmet Their eyes meet transfixed They fall in love at first site But will the King be pleased? I am Prince Valiant my lord I've come to ask of you If I can have this Princess For my very own I'll love her till the end of time And give her everything she desires The King agreed And the pair were wed Within the week It is to be said The two kingdoms united The happy Princess Has her Prince They can now all live Happily ever after 33 lines
