Beautiful red
For a wedding
In the chapel hall
Maggie always late
With a cheque to pay
In time to hurry to Harry
For a loan to pay the seamstress
Invited to be the bridesmaid
In lieu of late payment
A bribe to hide away
From prying eyes
Where to now
Her shawl
Splitting
The stitches
A knot untied
