A Sedoka written for Week 10, Poetic Explorations.
Sharks, trolling waters looking for unsuspecting victims, full of innocence. Young girls, not quite grown should be enjoying life yet rebellious souls lead to pain. Author's Note: The Sedoka is an unrhymed poem made up of two three-line katauta with the following syllable counts: 5/7/7, 5/7/7. A Sedoka, as a pair of katauta in a single poem, may address the same subject from differing perspectives.
