Small Matters
![]() In the empty silence, distrust fills my heart. Could I have done more? Did my words not convince? What part did I share in splitting us apart? Unkind words that were spoken made us both wince; pride overrode love – no "I'm sorry's" were said. Such small matters loom with receding distance. Form: Terza Rima The Terza Rima is a poem with an eleven syllable count in each line and a rhyming scheme of aba, bcb, cdc, dd. Thank you for taking time to read my words. I would appreciate it if you took a moment and left a comment. Your reaction, impressions, criticisms, - yes, even praise Ken
