When the heart rules the head.

Drifting together yet still apart
Teach me to control my heart
Once, twice, changed my mind
Unable to think, can't unwind
You smile at me, my heart says yes
Then you're gone - such emptiness
Tell me were your first words true
Sweet, gentle words, thought I knew
Actions only, they can't compare
I felt so naive as I lay there
Falling, falling, my heart drops
I thought I'd won, it seems I lost
