INSOMNIA
Rated: E | Poetry | Experience | #1759304
What it feels like to have insomnia.

Here I lie awake at midnight,
Thoughts keep turning, no sleep in sight;
All I hear is time ticking away,
Scenes in my mind are stuck on replay.

Images, worries and woes go on,
Every night I lie awake till dawn;
Anxiety and frustration,
I feel through the whole duration.

Cluttered thoughts just keeps playing,
So then I just start praying;
Hoping God will hear my plea,
And will set my mind free.
