                            SALVATION

Oh mighty God, how sweet and merciful is your care!
From nothing you have made me, and all that is I now share.
In this life formed by wit of man, I have found but little value,
except how void it is of any, sober knowledge of you.
Had the world really caught, that your way was best,
surely less would suffer, this life so now distressed.
Sadly, still our children inherit, a life of certain struggle,
as parents fear for their little ones, they no longer can cuddle.

From where shall the wisdom come, if not from kings of old?
Of these it seems a greater truth, could be found and even told.
How is it their wisdom was found,a faith, or gift born of a prophet?
I suspect it was, and how by the same, we too can profit.
Was wisdom then to regard others, considering life deeper than most,
and truth the same, be it of Allah, Buddha, or any "of Heavens hosts"?
To me God is the highest of truth, and is all that should reign supreme,
and the crown of the believer is a Father, more than any human seen.

It is for our deepest part missing, unsettled, that we fail to evolve,
the very reason our human problems, are impossible to solve.
We look outward to find answers, unaware the truth is inside,
waiting to be discovered if only, we can put foolishness aside.
It is a perception, a conscience, we must awaken to be known,
a divide crossed upon a bridge, built carefully stone by stone.
Though many know a truth, yet know it only as it was written,
but better is gathered along the way, as did, that perfect life given.
