What if I tiptoe one full moon, in your dreams? Whisper in your ears whilst you're asleep? What if I ask you to hold my hand? I'll take you to the shores of another land. What if there's indeed such a world; worthy than a fountain gushing with gold? Not a blot in the blue, oceans crystal clear, and roses sans the thorns, for a souvenir? We could perch atop a mountain drenched in snow, I'd hold you and caress, your quivering lips slow. Wonder if I could tell you amidst our flight in the sky: "Baby this is not a dream, no it ain't a lie!" No emails, no phone calls, no traffic blues. Just a wish be enough to bring me next to you! Where love's the currency and no man is poor. (If that's the case, I'd be a millionaire for sure!) We'll toil away our days in different towns, and I'll sneak in your dreams once the sun goes down. I'll carry you in my wings; we'll fly away so far, love me on the moon and I'll kiss you among the stars. We could perch atop a mountain drenched in snow, I'd hold you and caress, your quivering lips slow. Wonder if I could tell you amidst our flight in the sky: "Baby this is not a dream, no it ain't a lie!" (tempo slows…) And when we're back home just before dawn, couldn't wait for twilight to sing this song. Even stars and the skies, and shores of that world, would miss us for sure, all day along.
