For Purpose

A poem to inspire writing toward greater meaning and purpose.


FOR PURPOSE

I'm blessed to have found you,a people of like mind.
You writers and poets,so thoughtful and so kind.
My favorites are your works with a certain dedication,
perceived at it's end,a thought,a new realization.
It is you I ask,who write with more elegance and style,
to consider that better work,and go the extra mile.
For you alone do ponder things both small and great.
it is you I must request,to carry this greater weight.

I'm sorry if I burden you,to ask for your very best,
but in you is my hope,and I wish you all success.
So share with the world,with sincerity and heart,
I know it is in you I've seen it, but just a little part.
Aim not to judge, but for those better things to share,
blessings born of wisdom and of tender loving care.
For surely this is the way which Jesus saw best,
so all that I encounter is put to his righteous test.
