One stormy night, three people find themselves lost in an enchanted forest. The first one keeps looking behind him, judging his progress from where he came. He knows exactly how far he has come and from where, but unexpectedly falls into a pit of quicksand from which he cannot escape. "Oh well," he says, "At least my life was filled with many fond memories!" He dies shortly thereafter. The second one looks up towards sky, hoping the storm will pass. He thinks of what he will do once he gets out of the forest, but in his daydreaming state, he walks straight over the edge of a cliff. "Oh, well" he says, "At least I have much to look forward to in heaven!" as he falls to his death. The third one looks straight ahead, focused on what he is doing. He dodges the many obstacles that the forest throws at him, keenly perceptive of what is going on. In the end, he manages to escape the enchanted forest without perishing as the other two had. He says nothing and keeps on walking forward. The end. :D

Sorry it's a bit morbid :(
