Copper-cored wires, insulated strung sparrows can compose music. Fountains of spirit rose toward this mythical dove like our flowered sins. Abandoned staffs let stark branches stand. The sparrows roost close to heaven. Winter begins, roots deepening the hollow growth, song frames this alcove. Wind striped branches reel in dawn skies as alcoves hold valleys to a mirrored doe. Sunlit blemish, masters of contained spirits snooze and singing birds flock---towards quilted memories. . .
