Guzar rahay haen shab o roaz tum naheen aateen

Riaaz e zeest hay aazurda e bahaar abhee
Meray khayaal ki dunya hay soagwaar abhee

Jo husrataen teray gham ki kafeel haen piaari
Abhee talak meri tanhaaioun maen basti haen
Taweel raataen abhee tak taweel haen piaari
Udaas aankhaen teri deed ko tarasti haen

Bahaar e husn pay paabandi e jafa kab tak
Yeh aazmaaish e sabr e guraizpaa kab tak

Qasam tumhaari bohat gham uthha chuka houn maen
Ghalat tha daawa e sabr o shakaib, aa jaao
Qaraar e khaatir e baitaab, thak gaya houn maen
